Who We Are
AMICI Power is a compilation of several decades of dedication to excellence in the electrical field.
With over 40 years’ experience in the electrical industry. I now give exclusive attention to energy solutions. Being involved with everything from generator sales, service, maintenance and remote monitoring for both commercial and residential accounts. I feel I say it best, “When it comes to power and energy solutions it’s not something else we do, it’s all we do.” Prior to starting AMICI Power, I first worked as an electrical estimator upon graduating JM Wright Technical School in 1980 from the Electrical Trade. I then worked as a licensed electrician for several local contractors in both new installation and retrofitting (old work) for residential, commercial and industrial installations. In time I started my own company AMICI Electric & Alarms, which later became AMICI Electric & Maintenance. While working in this capacity I had the privilege and opportunity to work part time as an Electrical Inspector in Fairfield County, CT. My son Mike, as a child, worked alongside me and was a natural when it came to helping on electrical jobs. It was not long after Mike expressed interest in working as an auto mechanic that I decided to do more with generators, so in 2004, the company became AMICI Electric & Generators. Currently we are Factory Authorized to work on: Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Winco, Generac & Honeywell Generators. We also offer alternative power solutions for clients who may not be able to install a traditional standby generator with a wide selection of UPS, Battery Backup Systems. I want to thank you for visiting AMICI Power online, and would like to welcome you in person at “The Solution Center” located in Norwalk, CT. Come and see for yourself that there is more to us than just generators. Our name AMICI means friend in Italian and that’s how we try to treat everyone, like a friend.
In Loving Memory of Michael Louis Gabriele: August 24th,1990—January 24th 2016
